Boekjes voor Rotterdam

Ik ben naar het Emma Kinderziekenhuis geweest in Rotterdam to deliver the books en alle knutselspulletjes. Ze waren heel erg enthousiast en overweldigd door de hoeveelheid spullen die we hadden meegebracht, en dat was heel erg leuk om te zien. Ik heb kennisgemaakt met een van de pedagogosch medewerkers die veel met de kinderen werkt en Sebastiaan, heeft een hele spontane foto gemaakt van het overhandigen van een paar boekjes:-), soort van dan.En toen kregen we nog een rondleiding door een gedeelte van het ziekenhuis, met in de gangen prachtige muurschilderingen, hier was een jungle thema. Jullie boekjes hebben hier een heel goed nieuw thuis gekregen.

Books for Rotterdam

I have been to Rotterdam to the Emma Children's hospital to deliver the books and all the craft supplies. They where very enthousiastic and overwhelmed by the amount of things they got, that was very cool to see. I have met one of the ladies who works with the children and Sebastiaan took a shot of the hand over of a few books, very spontaneous:-) well sort of anyway.And we got a tour of one part of the children's hospital, that has beautiful paintings on the wall, all with animals, very cute. Your books have been given a great new home here.

De laatste Sunshine boekjes die afgegeven zijn bij "Scrappen Doe Je Zo" in Ede. Een totaal aantal van 89 boekjes kan ik bij het totaal optellen van de Sunshine boekjes die gemaakt zijn in door Nederlandse scrappers die allemaal hun hart en ziel erin hebben gelegd om prachtige mini boekjes te maken.Dus bedankt aan Scrappen Doe Je Zo voor het inzamelen en aan iedereen die boekjes hier hebben afgegeven.

Another total of 89 books I can count up to the final number of Sunshine books that have been made by all the Dutch scrappers who have put their heart and soul into making amazing mini books.So thanks to everyone who brought their books to the store and also to Scrappen Doe Je Zo for the storage!

Boekjes en knutselspulletjes zijn afgegeven bij Paper & Pictures in Doorn. Allemaal gemaakt door verschillende mensen een totaal van 73 Sunshine boekjes.En van het opgehaalde geld van de verkoop van instructies van nieuwe ontwerpen van zonneschijn boekjes heeft Truike 5 complete eyelet setting set gekocht met matjes, hamers, hole punch and eyelet setters, echte goede kwaliteit gereedschap voor de kindren om mee te knutselen en natuurlijk een hele doos met ontzettend leuke vormen en kleuren eyelets. Ik wil iedereen bedanken voor het doneren van knutselspullen en voor het maken van de boekjes en Paper and Pictures natuurlijk!

And also from the money collected by selling the Sunshine books instructions on some new designs Truike got 5 complete eyelet setting sets, with mats, hammers hole punch and eyelet setters, really quality tools for the kids to craft with and of course some very cute shape eyelets.
So I want to thank everyone who donated craft supplies and who made Sunshine books and Paper and Picture of course!

Ik laat jullie de spulletjes zien die ik van Chantal kreeg van Chantals Scrapperij, knutsel pakketjes en allerlei leuke knutselmaterialen.En nog een heleboel boekjes, een totaal van 33 bij elkaar. Allemaal gemaakt met toewijding en dat is te zien!Bedankt Chantal en iedereen die heeft geholpen met het vullen van de doos met Zonneschijn!

I'll show you all the stuff I got from Chantal of Chantals Scrapperij, little craft kits and a lot of fun craft things.And also a whole bunch of books, a total of 33 all together. All made with a lot of dedication and it shows! Thanks to Chantal and to everyone who helped filling the box with Sunshine!

Nog meer boekjes afgeleverd!

Laurie ons contactpersoon in New Mexico heeft de Sunshine boekjes weggebracht naar de "University of New Mexico hospital", in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Ze werkt zelf in dit zieknhuis en toen ze over het project hoorde was ze meteen enthousiast en ze wilde ook meteen als contactpersoon optreden, ze was de eerste in Amerika. Hier is haar verslag: Het was geweldig. Het personeel was diep geroerd dat iedereen zo hard gewerkt heeft aan het maken van de Sunshine boekjes. We zijn een afdeling met 20 bedden, en ze zullen verdeeld worden tussen deze afdeling en de patienten die niet in het ziekenhuis verpleegt worden. er worden heel veel patientjes op deze manier verzorgt en ik wilde graag dat zij niet buiten de boot zouden vallen.

Ze kon het prachtige aantal van 167 boekjes meenemen naar het ziekenhuis voor de kindjes.

Another book delivery!

Laurie our contact in New Mexico has brought the Sunshine books to University of New Mexico hospital, in Albuquerque, NM. She works in the hospital herself and was thrilled when she heard about the Sunshine books and was the first American contact. Here is here report: It went great. The staff was really touched that everyone worked so hard to make these albums for the kids. We are a 20 bed unit, so they are going to be divided up between us and the outpatient clinic. There are a lot of kids treated on an outpatient basis, so I wanted to make sure they were included. Here is one pile of books.
She could take the amazing total of 167 Sunshine books to the hospital for the children. Here are a few dedicated nurses of the nursing staff

Boekjes voor Austin, Texas!

Barbara ons contactpersoon voor het ziekenhuis in Austin heeft op 7 november de Sunshine boekjes weggebracht. Het was een totaal aantal van 64 boekjes en Barbara zegt dat de: "Child Life Specialists" het geweldig vonden! Claudia en Chelsea namen de mand met boekjes in ontvangst zoals te zien is op de foto hieronder. Ik wil Barbara bedanken dat ze contactpersoon wilde zijn en natuurlijk alle Sunshine boekjes makers die hebben geholpen om de mand te vullen!

Books for Austin, Texas!

Barbara our contact for the hospital in Austin has delivered the Sunshine books on November 7th. It was a total of 64 books and Barbara says: The Child Life Specialists were thrilled! Claudia and Chelsea received their basket full of albums as you can see in the picture. I want to thank Barbara for being a contact and of course all the Sunshine books makers who helped filling the basket!

Ik kreeg nog een doos van De Wurft Kreatief uit Dirksland. Samen met een groep vaste cursisten hebben zij het prachtige aantal van 51 Sunshine boekjes gemaakt! Bedankt Ma van De Wurft Kreatief en alle cursusten die geholpen hebben met het maken van Zonneschijn!

Opnieuw spullen uit Rijsbergen!

Er was een doos gevuld met boekjes en allerlei leuke knutselspulletjes afgegeven op het laatste moment bij Scrapbook Paradise door een mevrouw van wie ik de naam niet weet omdat er geen briefje bijzat, in ieder geval ontzettend bedankt! Ik kan weer 27 boekjes optellen bij het totaal!En er was opnieuw een hele lading met spullen, deze keer nog meer dan de vorige keer.Het was een autovullende hoeveelheid, kleurboeken, stiften, plakboeken en knutselpapier. Ik heb deze keer niet van alles foto's gemaakt het was gewoon teveel en te zwaar:-)Ik wil even speciaal Marielle bedanken, die heel erg veel aan promotie voor het project heeft gedaan en er heel veel energie in heeft gestoken om te proberen spullen gedoneerd te krijgen en bedankt aan Scrapbook Paradise voor het opslaan van de spullen!

There was a box filled with books and all kinds of fun scrapbooksupplies brought last minute to Scrapbook Paradise by 1 lady who's name I can't share because she didn't left a note, but I do want to thank you! I can add another 27 books to the total!And there was another truckload of stuff, this time it was even more than last time. It was a car filling amount of coloring books, scrapbooks, markers, and craft paper.I didn't take pictures of everything this time:-) I want to say special thanks to Marielle, who did a lot of promotion for the project and has put a lot of energy in trying to get as much stuff as possible donated for the project and thanks also to Scrapbook Paradise for the storage!
